In 2001, the William Whitsitt Baptist Heritage Society awarded Dr. Hinson with their annual Courage Award. Get some Baptist Education and check Michael's post out.

Thanks for the plug not only for Hinson, but my mentors series. I also have one on "Baptist heroes" (including heroines) and one on "essential dialogue partners"--where I have listed essential liberals and will soon follow up with essential evangelical dialogue partners. I should probably include a series on Jewish dialogue partners, too.
